Bernard F. Fisher

There are tens of thousands of others. These should show that you weren't thinking or believe lies about the patriotism of a wonderful people... Jim
Reply:Aynsworth Dyer was a Canadian peacekeeper who died in Afghanistan with 3 other Canadians in a certain 'friendly fire' incident a couple of years back. He was LDS.

Pat Tillman was also LDS
Reply:Good God - is it for the stunted adolescent mentality of the question and first answerer that Veterans took hits for? Maybe they should put their sorry as-s in the line of fire, and see if a Purple Heart is a 'dime a dozen'.
Reply:Purple hearts have become meaningless, the US Military gives it to anything from the loss of ones limbs to a papercut.

This is because of the japanese invasion that never happened, the US Military ordered so many purple hearts to be made that they are still being issued today (they anticipated very heavy casualties for the invading US forces). There is a surplus and the army wants to get rid of them because they take up storage space.

That being said, i would not be surprised there are a lot of mormons that recieved purple hearts...
