What can happen if the aortic cusps (all three) of your heart are growing?

I would like to know what it's called and what possible treatments are. I also was wondering if it could be related to my skin color turning purple in my legs and arms (finger nails too). Chest pains are an everyday thing for me. My cardiologist does not seem to care about this.. Many adults in my family have heart probs such as murmers. I am quite young and would like to get this taken care of before college.

a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy runs in my family.. on both sides.


it is when your heart grows too big.


and is deadly





it can cause you to have to get a heart transplant.


i have lost two uncles and a grandfather from it.





my cousin was diagnosed.. and my grandmother and other grandfather have also been diagnosed.
