What are some valid non-scam work at home jobs?

I'm not looking to get rich quick, just make some additional money on the side. I also don't want to have to invest any money initially. I've heard of working for purple heart setting up pick-up appointments.

What are some valid non-scam work at home jobs?
This is really hard. Normally if people are asking you to pay something upfront you can bet it is a scam, even if you are buying start up products.





If you want to work from home you need to be in control of the service you are selling and that way you are the only person in the chain





The things that you could offer with a PC are as follows;





(1). Typing for university / college students papers.


(2). Exam paper marker for schools and colleges - they provide the answers and you mark to these answers. this might be a bit seasonal.


(3). Home based secretary or Personal Assistant - some people need their lives to be organized and their daily/weekly/monthly appointments tracked and the like but because they are on the move they are happy to have this service via the phone and email. To do this for a number of people you need to be an organized type yourself and use your PC in a very strict way. You could do this for a number of people and get a good living out of it if you are good at it.


(4). Start a business making bespoke cards. Or something craft like if you have talents in that line.


(5). Book keeping for someone again from home, if you have skills in that area.





And so on.





Main advice is for you to have the control otherwise you can be scammed. hope this helps a little.





PS%26gt; Just thought of something else - you could become a writer of children's stories or short stories and ttry selling them to magazines and so on.
Reply:All companies that ask for a little up front aren't all scams. Just check out the company thoroughly before you join and be sure that the money you put in is always guaranteed. It's the ones that ask for none and a lot that gave me the biggest headache. Jennifer
